Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council is a not-for-profit incorporated association with a diverse membership base that reflects the communities and organisations we serve.

Membership provides a way for individuals and organisations to formally connect with BRMC, contribute to our governance and advocacy work, and support a strong, inclusive regional voice for people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Membership Benefits

Voting rights
Eligible members can participate in BRMC general meetings and vote on key organisational matters.

Connection and information
Receive BRMC newsletters and updates about programs, events, and issues affecting people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Practical support
Access administration and auspice support, event equipment loans, and member rates for room hire at the Ballarat Welcome Centre.

Participation and involvement
Attend BRMC general meetings and monthly catch-ups, stay informed about organisational priorities, and contribute to conversations shaping our work.

Membership Types

General membership
For organisations whose primary focus is cultural, ethnic, or multicultural, and whose aims and activities align with BRMC’s purpose.

Associate membership
For organisations with an interest in inclusion or cultural diversity where this is not their primary focus, and who wish to stay connected and engaged.

Individual membership
For individuals who demonstrate a genuine, practical interest in inclusion or cultural diversity and are not seeking membership through an organisation.

How to Join / Renew

To apply for or renew membership, complete the relevant membership application or renewal form. If you need assistance or have questions about eligibility, membership categories, or fees, the BRMC team is happy to help.
